Being at home for six long months and all we have done is munching and late-night food indulgence. It has resulted in many of us gaining some extra pounds and fat on our bodies. But now as the lockdown has been completely lifted, we all are going to head and want to look our best.
Of course, being slim and lean is considered to be healthy and one is considered to be physically fit but if you become too much of a fitness freak and end up going under your BMI then that’s concerning.
When trying to lose weight, always opt for a healthy option rather than going on crash and fad diets it is going to do more bad for you than any good. Not just that, ad diet can lead to serious health conditions like anemia, arthritis, and bad eyesight. We are here to talk about some of the healthy ways you can opt for to lose weight.
More number of meals
Many people suffer from the problem of an unstable appetite. But either if you eat too much or too less because you start to feel full too fast, an increasing number of meals is the way to go about it. Increase your number of meals to six but decrease the portions of your food so that you consume your daily required calories. It will help stabilize your metabolism and will stop your food from being stored as fat.
Waking up to coffee and caffeine-packed drinks hold no or very little nutritional value yet they can be problematic for your health. They may help to keep you stay awake during the day but it has more downsides than any good.
Try replacing them with healthy fruit smoothies and milkshakes that will help you maintain your health as well and will give you strong bones and muscles. Add some flaxseeds or even protein powders for some added nutrition in your morning drinks.
Exercise and get active
You cannot get slim in a healthy way if you reply solely to your diet. People tend to go on crash diets to lose weight and even end up doing to but in an extremely unhealthy way.
They often end up with weak bones and muscles which causes serious health problems in the long run. Working out and strengthening your muscles can help you lose weight and build muscles while keeping your health in perspective. Cardio, in particular, will help your heart going and your blood flowing around the body while will help you burn the extra calories. Consistent exercise will help stabilize your diet and help your body get in shape.

Manage your liquid intake
Drinking water immediately after having food results in bloating and makes the food in our bodies hard which results in indigestion and slow metabolism. Moreover, drinking any heavy fluids before a meal can result in you feeling full not feeling the need of having a meal which may deprive you of the calories you might need for the day. So, if you plan on having a drink before a meal, make sure it is nutritional enough to not deprive your body off of anything.
