Being a morning person is never easy. If anything, these five or so months of quarantine has made it even hard and has given us some bad habits of staying up late. Our sleeping patterns have completely changed.
But now with the lockdown being lifted, we need to fix our routines and have to wake up early to take care of our daily chores. It’s not that hard to be the person who wakes up early and is effective and efficient. We all envy that kind of person. The good news is that you can also be one of them as we guide you through different hacks.
Prepare yourself from the morning before
Keep a track of your before-bed habits. If you feel like you are consuming a lot of heavy and greasy foods before then you need to sleep. Keep a track of how much sugar or caffeine you are consuming at night. If you are consuming a lot of them then you need to stop because it can severely affect your sleeping pattern.
Consuming heavy foods before sleeping will keep your body up al night digesting that food which will make you wake up all tired and exhausted early in the morning. Whereas caffeine and sugar act as natural agents to keep your brain awake so that in itself is bad to have before bed.
Stay hydrated all the time
Drink about two glasses of water near your bedtime. This will help you stay hydrated throughout the night when you are sleeping and cannot drink water. Moreover, it will help you stay full and is going to prevent you from indulging in unhealthy munching which is likely to affect your sleep.
When you wake up, drink a large glass of water right away before having any coffee or tea. Water will help to get your brain activity going early in the morning and will help you feel fresher as it will help maintain a more balanced flow of oxygen in your body which is going to rest in a more refreshed and calm state of mind.
Do some fun moves in the morning
For years we have seen the movie or cartoon characters wake up to music tunes to which they then dance. We always question ourselves as to how one can be so energetic in the morning that they right away get dancing as soon as they wake up. Well, we researched a bit about it, and it is all true and possible and can help you wake up so much energy if you have your favorite song as your alarm tune.
Music helps release dopamine in your brain which makes you energetic and delighted. Moreover, with all those dance moves, you will get blood and oxygen rushing in all of your body. So, make a playlist of your own and play it from the time you wake up to the time you do your breakfast till the time you get ready and it will help elevate your energy levels by large.
