This ingredient is tried and trusted by many generations who swear by its results. Aloe gel has ingredients that stimulate a process of skin regeneration as you apply it to your skin. Apply aloe gel generously to the pigmentation affected spots on your body at night. To get the most of it, look for lotions, creams, and even makeup products that have some amount of aloe gel in it. This way you will be able to benefit from this ingredient round the clock.

This is yet another staple ingredient which is available in all household. It is a highly strong ingredient thus it should be used with care. In the areas of the body where the skin is thin. Baking soda should not be applied there and any consumer of it should always carry out a patch test before using it. Baking soda has exfoliating properties. That help to drive away from the dead skin and lifts the upper darkened layer to reveal the radiant and glowing skin below. Mix it with either water or petroleum jelly and then scrubs it gently onto your knees, elbows, or your face for about 5 minutes. Rinse away with cold water and repeat the process twice a week keeping it once a week for your face.

Yogurt and oatmealAll-natural ways to lighten your knees and elbows

Yogurt has fatty acids that help do deeply moisturize your skin while also adding some lightening to the pigmentation. Oatmeal, on the other hand, has highly calming and soothing properties which can help control the factors that lead to the redness and irritation which ultimately leads to the formation of pigmentation on your skin. Combine the two ingredients in equal parts in a blender. Use this mixture as a mask for your body and face. Leave it on for 20 minutes on the area you are targeting and rinse with warm water. Repeat twice a week for maximum results.

Turmeric powderAll-natural ways to lighten your knees and elbows

This ingredient cannot just help with hyperpigmentation but it is a magic ingredient that provides a solution to so many other skin conditions as well.  Turmeric has healing and calming properties which will help repair any damage on the skin caused by lack of moisture and will help to restore the skin in its original state. Moreover, it calms the redness down on your skin which is a major contributor to the formation of pigmentation. Mix turmeric powder with equal parts milk to form a paste and apply it onto the affected place every night for 20 minutes for maximum results.
