DIY masks to cool and soothe your face in this heat

It is important to adjust your skin according to the changing environment and the weather. The same skincare routine can often become redundant as your skin might. Become too used to of the same product DIY masks that they may become in effect. Hence, it is important to keep switching between your routine every now and then.

The edge we have during these days is that we are stuck at home with lots of time on our hands but nothing to do. This brings us down to having plenty of new skincare regimens to try so when the lockdown gets lifted, you step up with your glowing and hydrated skin!

Oatmeal Mask

Take one-third of a cup of some organic oatmeal and grind it into a food processor until it reaches a powder-like consistency. A tablespoon of honey and milk each to the powdered oatmeal and mix it so that it reaches a paste-like consistency.

Of you feel like the consistency is to thick then add milk until it reached your desired texture. Apply this mask all over your face, neck, and chest and leave it on for 20 mins or until you feel like the mask getting tight on your skin. Rinse off with some cold water.

Peach pulp mask

Take a normal sized peach and cut it into small pieces and then grind it in a blender so that it reaches a pulp consistency. Refrigerate the pulp until it becomes cool. Meanwhile, take an egg white and whisk it with your hand or an electronic mixture until it becomes white and hard peaks form in it.

Take out the pulp from the refrigerator and fold it into the egg whites so that it becomes a thick paste. Apply this mix all over your face, neck, and chest. You can even apply this to your body if you desire to do so. Leave it on for about 20 minutes and then rinse off with warm water. The enzyme in peach helps to exfoliate and rejuvenate the skin while egg whites tighten the skin and reduce and appearance of large pores.

Banana mask

Take two bananas and grind them into a food processor to that it becomes a DIY masks. Take these mashed bananas and pop them into the freezer so that it becomes cold and soothes the skin. Meanwhile, in a bowl, combine two tablespoons of yogurt with two tablespoons of honey and mix them well so that there are no yogurt lumps left.

Take your banana DIY mask out of the freezer and mix it with the yogurt and honey mixture. Apply this mask all over your face, neck, and chest and leave it on for 30 mins or until it dries off completely. Rinse off with some warm water and pat dry your skin.
