Luckily, being in a South Asian country and living in a desi household. We never seem to run out of turmeric because it is a necessity for our kitchens and cooking. Mix some turmeric with baking soda and rosewater to make natural face masks, all in equal parts, to create a paste-like mix.
Apply it onto your natural face masks for a few second and it starts to get a bit dry. Then start to scrub it onto your skin in circular motions for a few seconds to get rid of your dead skin cell layer and reveal a radiant and glowing complexion. By rinsing your face with some cold water once you’re done.
Oat, banana and honey scrub-cum-mask
Simply take a banana, a tablespoon of honey and oats. Grind all of them together in a blender to create a smooth paste. Apply it onto your face and neck in an equal layer and repeat the same process of scrubbing the mask onto your face in circular motions once it starts to dry to exfoliate your skin. This mask will help make your skin softer and tighter and will help in clearing up any fine lines from your skin by improving the overall blood flow in your face and neck.
Milk, lemon and gram flour scrub-cum-mask
Simply mix some gram flour, lemon juice, and milk, all in equal parts, to create a smooth paste. Apply this mix all over your face in an equal layer. Once the mask starts to dry and begins to feel a bit tight on your face, start rubbing it into your skin gently in circular motions until your skin starts to feel smooth.
Rinse it off with some face wash and cold water. Immediately apply a moisturizer afterward as lemon juice may leave your skin dry. This mask has brightening properties which will help alleviate your complexion.
