DIY Sugaring to get hair free skin at home

With this entire pandemic situation going on, self-grooming and care seem to get disturbed greatly because all the parlors are closed. It’s been over two months and now is the time when most of us are really craving our parlors sessions.

There’s truly nothing more satisfying than the feeling of smooth hair-free skin and it’s a pity that most of us are unable to go get the parlor appointments. We’re here to bring you a quick and easy hair removal fix known as “sugaring” which is all-natural and home-made and can be used at the ease and convenience of staying at your own home.

Moreover, it contains natural ingredients as lemon which acts to clear up any tan and dead skin on your skin while revealing radiant skin.

This wax is so simple to make and the ingredients needed to make it will already be present in your kitchen. To make this you need 2 cups of white sugar, ¼ cup of water and ¼ cup of lemon juice. Simply add all the ingredients into a pan and place it on the heat and stir the mixture with a wooden spoon.

Start with high heat and watch the mixture turn foamy and bubbly. At this point, reduce the heat level and keep on stirring the mixture. Cook until your wax reaches golden brown or deep brown color. It can take you about 7-10 minutes to reach the desired colored so hang on in there with your patience.

Turn off the heat and allow the mixture to cool a bit. Once It cools and is still a bit runny then place it back on the heat and cook it a little more. What we’re looking for is cold honey-like consistency. Pour the wax into a clean jar and allow it to cool for at least 30 minutes before use.

This wax is going to last you for many uses and will help you get smooth hair-less skin. Simply warm the wax-up a bit for the easy spread and use it with disposable cloth strips to wax yourself.

Be careful to not burn yourself by using the wax while it is too hot. Be sure to do a patch test first because lemon juice can tend to irritate some peoples’ skin.
